The revaluation of the ancient village, characterised by the numerous small ‘contradas’ (group of old mountain houses) in the area which rich testimony to the past , is one of the priorities of this project.
The village needs to be restored in a way that carefully maintains its rural architectural origins which are the real cultural and artistic expression of this area.
There are around 10 baitas situated on a steep mountain slope, they are all from between the 16th and 18th centuries. They are very interesting
examples of rural architecture.
The lower parts are in stone whilst the other parts are in wood with wooden beams. During restoration the hygiene and sanitary aspects will be
correctly secured, along with solar panels and furnishings and fittings suitable for the mountain ambience. These aspects will permit our guests to
pass an unforgettable stay in our valley.
